Hotdog Bread Rolls are fun to make are best use for day-old sliced bread. Golden, crunchy and stuffed with meaty hot dogs and sometimes melty cheese. It’s another idea for snacks or appetizers that kids and adults alike will love!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  1. Jumbo Hot-dogs (sliced in half lengthwise)

  2. Bread crumbs

  3. Egg

  4. Sliced Bread (preferably Gardenia)

  5. Cheese (optional)

  6. Rolling pin

  7. Toothpick

Steps:

  1. Slice hot dogs in half

  2. Flatten white bread by using a rolling pin

  3. Wrap the sliced up hotdogs in the flattened bread

  4. Add cheese slices if you like

  5. Dip it in the egg

  6. Cover with bread crumbs

  7. Secure with toothpick so it won’t open up while frying. Make sure to remove them before serving :)

  8. Deep fry

  9. Serve with whatever condiments/sauces you wish (cheese, catsup, mustard, mayo)

Tips:

✅Cut the hot dog into half or thin strips so you’ll be able to roll the bread tightly around them. ✅For the best outcome, use a thermometer to maintain the oil at approximately 350 F to 375 F range.

✅Too hot and the bread coating cooks before the inside is sufficiently heated through

✅Too low and the bread rolls absorb a lot more oil.

Enjoy!
