Project: Earsavers

Updated: Apr 20, 2020

As the days go by, our ears have been sore because of wearing face masks for a long time. Some have allergies to the ear loops, some develop blisters due to prolonged use.

If you haven't seen them before, they're used to ease discomforted caused by surgical face masks. They sit at the back of the head and the straps of the mask hook around the buttons instead of your ears.

This is really quick project, you could easily have these finished in under 5 minutes.

It's also a great way to use up some scrap ribbons, garters and buttons as you only need a really small amount.

Here’s what you need:

1. Needle

2. Thread

3. 2 buttons

4. Scarp ribbons/garters/cloth

To prevent the ribbons from fraying, you can put some nail polish at the ends or you can fold it like shown below.

Now let’s do this for our heroes!❤️
